| Course Description: | Workers in health care related fields are always at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens, such as the HIV virus and hepatitis B virus. This course is designed to meet the current OSHA training requirements. Bloodborne Pathogens was created for students and employees who have potential for occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials, and even has supplemental information on airborne pathogens such as tuberculosis. We also cover Preventing Infectious Diseases. This will teach students how to prepare for potential occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. |
